Currently, we are using Enesys Community Edition RS Data Extension v1.4.3 with SQL Server / RS 2005.  We would like to upgrade to SQL Server / RS 2008.  Does this version of the product support SQL Server / RS 2008 (found nothing in the install documentation)?

If not, which version of the Enesis RS Data Extension supports SQL Server / RS 2008?

Thanks.

Hi,

We have not made any tests with this version but I believe it should work. Your best option here is to make a test.

I just tried this on Reporting Services 2008, I could connect and preview reports through the designer fine in Visual Studio 2008 report designer. After deploying this or using the debug in designer to actually have report server render the report the following error is displayed:

An attempt has been made to use a data extension 'ENESYSSPS' that is either not registered for this report server or is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services.

I have checked the .config files and verified the paths probably 10 times now with no luck. :(

Any help would be appreciated as we are using the community edition in production.

EDIT: It would appear that this version is not compatible with 64bit...

Hi,

Indeed this version is not compatible with 64bits servers.
