Autodetect proxy IE setting - Enesys error message

Our IT team changed GPOs to globally set the autoproxy for Internet Explorer, which VS2005 uses. The end result is that I am getting error messages while trying to develop Enesys RS2008 forms:

"An error occurred during local report processing. An error has occurred during report processing. Query execution failed for data set 'MyDataSet'. The list 'MyList' could not be found in the site http://mysite.

I was able to get other SharePoint client apps (that use a web reference) running again by adding some xml to the .config file:

Is there a place to make a corresponding change for my Enesys forms?

Hi,

I suppose the problem comes from the fact you are now going through a proxy even for local addresses.

We are not providing an option for calling SharePoint web services through a proxy.

Couldn't your IT team configure more specifically the proxy settings in such a way that the proxy is bypassed for local addresses?

Or even being even more specific regarding addresses (SharePoint server) that do not go through the proxy server?

I will however fill a request in our database so that such an option can be implemented in Enesys RS Data Extension.
