Does the RS Data Extension provide any way to "rollup" list information within a site hierarchy to provide a dashboard level summary report?

Hi, Yes you can rollup list data from various sites by using sqlOp operators. As an alternative you could use the <multiList> query element. Before going further, I would like to be sure to understand your need. Could you give me some more details of what you would like to achieve? Regards,

Sure, I would like a straightforward way to be able to rollup all the subsites that contain a specific list that lies below the current site where the SSRS report is run. Ideally, I would not need to know the site names ahead of time, as the rollup function would read all the subsites at runtime.

Hi, There is no possibility to rollup (merge) lists without specifying the lists. The easiest way to achieve this is to use the <multiList> element. The <multiList> element will merge a variable number of lists located on any sites or subsites based on a SharePoint list containing the name and the url of each list that has to be merged. For more information on this feature, you can refer to the documentation or give me some more details so that I can show you how to write the query.
So that we can introduce this feature in a future version, just let me know if I understand correctly your need.
You have a SharePoint site which has a variable number of subsites. You would like to merge data from lists located on this site and its subsites based on the list's title. For instance, you could merge tasks from task lists located on a site and its subsites bearing that the task list has the same name on all sites.
Would you mind telling us about the business case for which you need this feature?
Regards,

I have a requirement with a client to build a PMO with multiple levels. The lowest level is the project level, which contains all the project detail expressed in lists. The higher levels in the hierarchy represent dashboards which aggregate list content below. This feature would allow a "line of sight" type rollup at each dashboard level, effectively aggregating list content from all subsites below.

Hi, We would need some more details to help you build the necessary query or even for implementing a new feature that would make it possible to write a more straightfoward query. We can collaborate so that you can set up your project. You can use the following address to give us more details (list details, intermediate level...) : support@enesys.fr.
