Hello -

I am running into a problem in an attempt to join two Sharepoint lists together.  The problem occurs when the column in the first list on which I am joining links to multiple values in the second list through a multiple-value look up column.  For example, an item in List 1 called Item 1 may link through a multiple-value look up column to two values in List 2, called Item 2 and Item 3.  In this case, the join fails.  However, when the linking relationship is one for one, the join works.

I believe that this problem stems with the way that Sharepoint stores multiple-value look up information.  This problem appears to be a major limitation to the power of joining multiple lists.

Thank you

Hi,
You are right. It's not possible with the current version to achieve this.
However, it will be possible with the next major release available by the end of September.
See the Roadmap for more information.
