I'm on the 2.1 version now, and I'm working on a report that pulls data from several sites, and most of the time it just needs to look at one site, so i'm trying to set up another dataset to pass the realtive address to the first one. But the rstLabel for the first value from the parent site returns the name of the list instead of the relative site url. Any idea why that is or how to fix it?

Hi,

I have checked and can confirm this issue. I've opened an issue for this.

In the mean time would you mind give me more information about your query and the approach you are using. I may come up with an alternative working approach.

You can send the information to our support email address if you prefer.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<root xmlns="http://enesyssoftware.com/schemas">
<description>This dataset gets the relative site of a district, this hopefully cuts down on performance time by running the mining
claims data set for one site instead of all of them.</description>
<multiList title="District Information" relativeSiteUrl="/Sites/PRMS/" type="RollUpList" stripHtml="true" tableName="District Information">
<fields>District_x0020_Name, Title</fields>
<query><Where>
      <Eq>
         <FieldRef Name="Title" />
         <Value Type="Text">@district!</Value>
      </Eq>
   </Where></query>
</multiList>
<resultSet>District Information</resultSet>
</root>

This runs for a site collection the parent of the collection contains the document list but it was empty before and if the parent one was empty it would return the relative addresses for everything, but I decided I wanted them to be able to select all and return the rstlabel for the parent site. So I added an (ALL) value to the list in the parent site and I just need to find a way to make it return /sites/prms when (ALL) is entered as @district!.

Thanks for all the help.

Stephanie

Hi,

I'm affraid I didn't catch it.

Would you like to retrieve only values from the starting site depending on some specific @district! value?

Yeah districts exists in the subsites, this is just to find which subsite a district exists in and to return that site. Also I want them to be able to search all districts so at the parent site their is a blank list, that's just a place holder but I figured to get all the sites I'd add a value there that would just be (ALL) and would return that parent site. But it doesn't. So I was thinking if there was another way to add that value to the list with the rst label of /sites/prms I could delite that value from the list in the parent site then it would work fine but I don't know how to do that.

Don't take it bat but this is still all confusing.

Which list is blank? Where do you add the ALL value? How do you add it?

Would you mind giving a bit more details without mixing the possible approach that may be used with ERSDE.

Or maybe you could describe what you would like in pseudo language.

The list on the parent site is blank because the parent site is just a container for all the children.

I'm building a list of all the children sites with thier name and their rstlabel.

I want to have an option in the list that just says all and would be associated with the parent site, so i added a value to the list on the parent site that just said ALL but the rstLabel would come back with the name of the document library and not the site address.

So I can just remove the value on the parent site, but I need to be able to add it the list and have an rstlabel for the parent site some how.

I hope that's a bit clearer.

Hi,

The bug has been fixed in the version 2.1.1 which is now available for download.

You just need to replace your current installed dll with the new one provided.
