I got all my reports written and they work from within studio, i set up the server and i deployed them fine but when they run they don't work.

I get errors like:

  • Response is not well-formed XML.
    • '', hexadecimal value 0x05, is an invalid character. Line 2, position -657.

Hi,

Can't you run any single report from your report server?

I was able to get one simple report to work correctly. It was just one list pulling from the main site.

My other reports all have multiLists and mergeLists in them.

Some reports the parameters will work but then it seems like nothing from the inner sites will work.

And I have two reports that are getting these xml errors.

This issue has come back for me after i've upgraded the dll to the newest one. But the datasource didn't change.

Any idea?

Do you mean the 2.1.2 version just released today?

Actually this was another really wierd security issue on our part. Sory about that.

And it was 2.1.1, but i'll get 2.1.2 installed soon.

Hi,

Are you sure this is not related to the problem we have discovered in version 2.1.1 and that has been corrected in version 2.1.2?

I updated to 2.1.2 and that seems to have helped too.
