Hello,

I am needing the enesys tool to retrieve HitHighlightedSummary information from my sharepoint server.  Using enesys is that possible?  If it is can someone please provide me an example or something to work off of.

Thank you,

Jeremy

Hi,

You will usually be interested in this property when querying SharePoint Search service which is not something possible with Enesys RS Data Extension though we may provide some query statement in the future for doing this.

Could you further explain what you are trying to do?

Frederic,

In my search process I allow users to specify if they would like to search by metadata or the document text.  If they search by document text, then I search based on FREETEXT(DefaultProperties,'') which searches the HitHighlightedText property.  I am also building the query for the search in CAML that I can then pass to enesys.  The issue occurs when I try to query by document text using enesys I return zero results because I am unable to query the HitHighlightedText property.  Any assistance would be great.

Sorry for the additional post but the query sent to enesys is pretty much just another query of the same data in the Search but in a reporting services format.

Jeremey,

I'm afraid I'm a bit at lost on how the various parts fit together on your side.

Enesys Query Language will query document libraries as any other lists and will only return metadata associated with the document library.

Would you mind sending an email to our support address (available in our manual) with some screen shot and the query you are using?

I will hopefully get a better understanding of the whole story.

Frederic,

I sent an email to (support address) regarding the queries that I am using in my code and what I am trying to use in the enesys tool.

Edit: sorry for editing - for avoiding spam (Frederic)
