I am trying to run a query and having problems.  My ignorance is large please be kind.

Here is the code I have written.  The report runs great when I have no queries running.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<root>
   <list title="Test SQL" relativeSiteUrl="//" useDisplayName="true" tableName="results">
        <fields>Easy_Description</fields>
             <query>
                        <Where>
                               <Contains>
                                      <FieldRef Name="Easy_Description"/>
                                      <Value Type="Text">Binoculars</Value>
                               </Contains>
                         </Where>
             </query>
   </list>
</root>

I am sure it is just another typo somewhere.  Any help would be much appreciated.

In the future if you want to release something, but you are unsure of what people won't be able to figure out.  Try me, I have questions all the time.

Thank you in advance.

Here is the error message I am receiving.

Hi,
You are always welcome with your questions.

I'm wondering about your problem because I took the whole query as provided in your post and just replaced the list and field name in order to point to one of our existing list and did not get any error after running the query as shown in the following image :

I have been using a multiline text type for the Desc column.
Could you tell me what is the type of the Easy_Description column?

Single line of text, i guess this would make a difference.

Thank you.

No, this should not make any difference.
Is it possible to send me your list template by email.
If your list's data is not sensitive could you include the content of the list within the template?
