I was thinking that it would be great to have an Integration Services Data source that would extract data recursively from sharepoint lists and sub-lists. We are looking at putting the data in a Data Warehouse for deeper analysis, I can setup a series of reports on subscriptions to dump the data out to files but I was thinking an SSIS data source would be much more elegant.

There are some samples up on codeplex but these don't support nested sites by default. Not sure if Enesys have any plans for this but I imagine it would be a marketable product.

Yes, we have made progress. We currently have a working data flow source and connection manager component. However some work still need to be done before some release.

I would expect a beta version for December. Contrary to Reporting Services extensions, Integration Services extensions need two different components for 2005 or 2008 version. We may come up initialy with only one version. Are you using SQL Server 2005 or 2008?
