Enesys IS Data Extension – Release Candidate

We were expecting to release Enesys IS Data Extension RC, our SharePoint extension for SQL Server Integration Services, two weeks ago but decided to take some more time to finalize the licensing and pricing approach...

Indeed, it would not have made much sense to provide the opportunity to try the product without one knowing what to expect in term of pricing and licensing.

After some internal discussions we considered that Enesys IS Data Extension is a natural complement to Enesys RS Data Extension. We believe Enesys RS Data Extension is still the way to go for many day to day scenarios:

• You can build and deploy a report in no time in order to solve any business problem you are facing,
• It provides live access to your data,
• A report can run using the credentials of the user executing the report providing access to the data only available to this user,

However, Enesys IS Data Extension is the ideal tool for manipulating very large lists or for integrating SharePoint data as part of a Data warehouse.

We have therefore decided to provide Enesys IS Data Extension as part of our current offer, adding even more value to our already extremely affordable solution.

Enesys IS Data Extension will be included with both Enesys RS Data Extension – Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition. There is however an important distinction between the two editions. With the Standard Edition license, you can use Enesys IS Data Extension an long as it is installed on the same server as Enesys RS Data Extension. The Enterprise Edition does not have any limitations in term of servers or CPU.

Of course, customers having a license with an up-to-date maintenance will be able to take advantage of this offer.
