We have been asked on several occasions if Enesys RS Data Extension was compatible with Reporting Services 2008.
As far as our current tests can tell us, Enesys RS Data Extension is compatible with Reporting Services 2008.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to give it a try right now as there is a bug in the current CTP release that prevents running any Data Processing Extension that relies on configuration data.
We have submitted the bug to Microsoft through Connect and it looks like it has been fixed. We have been said that the fix will be available as part of the RC0 release.
We are currently making tests using Enesys RS Data Extension 3.0 Beta 1 version that includes a workaround for the current bug.
As soon as Microsoft will release a version that addresses the bug, you will be able to use Enesys RS Data Extension along Reporting Services 2008.
We will keep you inform if we encounter any problems during our tests.
