We are pleased to announce that a beta of Enesys RS Data Extension Version 3 is available on demand.
All the expected features have not yet been completely implemented but the major feature (SQL Engine) is working and has undergone many tests. We are already using this version in a few production environment when complex queries could not be achieved using version 2.
The ability to issues SQL Select statements as part of the overall Query opens up Enesys RS Data Extension for much more complex data manipulation and aggregation than version 2 would permit.
As an example, the following version 3 query which retrieves the 5 best selling products for a specific year (selected by the user when the report is run) would be extremely complex to set up using current version.
As we have renamed the data extension's dll, it can be installed side by side with current 2.x version.
