Upgrading
When purchasing Enesys RS Data Extension, you are entitled to upgrades during one year. The license key delivered will work with any version published until the end maintenance date.
The best approach to know your exact maintenance date is to run the following simple query into your report designer:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<root>
<version></version>
</root>
After executing the query in the report designer data view, you will obtain the information shown in the following screen shot:
The "EndMaintenanceDate" represents the ending date of the maintenance (support and new versions) included in the purchase price.
If your "EndMaintenanceDate" is greater than October 13 2008, you will be able to run Enesys RS Data Extension version 3.
If not, you may purchase a maintenance subscription for your specific licenses and enjoy one more year support and product upgrades.
Special Introductory Offer
For a limited time (until November 14), you can save 15% on Enesys RS Data Extension Server and Enterprise licence purchase price by using the following coupon code: ERSDE-V3.
This discount applies equally to the purchase of Enesys RS Data Extension Maintenance Subscriptions.
Roadmap
We will soon publish a roadmap on the site. At this stage we can however announce that one of the important feature we are investigating is the possibility to query over SQL databases data as well, thus making it possible to merge and join SharePoint data with data located in SQL tables within a single query.
