We are pleased to announce that the current version of Enesys RS Data Extension is compatible with SharePoint 2010.
You have certainly heard of SharePoint 2010 those days. Though, it will certainly not be deployed in production the coming months, it is always important to to ensure that the software you are purchasing will be compatible with with this coming version of SharePoint.
In fact, as we expected, the current version of Enesys RS Data Extension is already compatible with SharePoint 2010.
Besides having ensuring that we could build live reports over SharePoint 2010 lists, we have made a copy of our various test sites to a test SharePoint 2010 installation and have run our suite of Integration Tests (1000+).
We have a few tests that didn’t pass but this is mostly due to the fact that we have some tests that return all fields (including hidden ones) and because a few fields have been added in SharePoint 2010.
Of course, that’s not the end of the story. We will not only ensure perfect compatibility but we will also support new features available in SharePoint 2010.
